CMRA Visits Tianjin Rep Office For Discussions

On December 9, 2025, a delegation led by Tian Zhengzhang, Chief Engineer, Zhang Shaofang, Vice President and Secretary-General, and Zhang Mingjie, Assistant Secretary-General of China Construction Material Rental Contractor Association (hereinafter referred to as CMRA), visited the Tianjin Representative Office of CMRA(Tianjin Tiantai Formwork&Scaffolding Co., Ltd.) for research and discussions. They conducted an in-depth understanding of the construction and development status of the representative office and held in-depth exchanges on key industry issues.


Relevant responsible persons from key enterprises attended the event, including Song Guangren, former Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; Ma Zhiming, former President of China Railway Third Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd.; Liu Jianxin, President of CMRA Tianjin Representative Office and Chairman of Tianjin Tiantai Formwork&Scaffolding Co., Ltd.; Liu Jinzhong, Standing Director of CMRA and Chairman of Tianjin China Leasing Union Road & Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd.; Li Zhongwei, Chairman of Shaanxi Shoulv Formwork Technology Co., Ltd.; Zang Xinglong, Chairman of Xingjiamiao Engineering Project Management Hebei Co., Ltd.; Wang Guoqiang, Chairman of Jiuchuang (Tianjin) Construction Equipment Co., Ltd.; Qu Chao, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Dingcheng Construction Technology Co., Ltd.; Ding Baoguo, Chairman of Tianjin Zhongqing Construction Equipment Leasing Co., Ltd.; Wu Fengdong, Chairman of Tianjin Dongcida Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.; Kong Weibao, Chairman of Hebei Jiaqi Weiye Construction Equipment Leasing Co., Ltd.; and Tang Wenli, Chairman of Botou Yongxing Construction Equipment Leasing Co., Ltd.


During the discussion, Chief Engineer Tian Zhengzhang affirmed the organizational vitality and initial work achievements demonstrated by the Tianjin Representative Office in the early stage of its establishment. He emphasized that as a newly established regional liaison and service platform, the representative office should focus on strengthening the construction of service functions in the next step, establish close ties with enterprises in the construction material leasing and contracting industry in Tianjin as soon as possible, gradually build industry consensus, create a sound atmosphere of joint efforts and coordinated development among enterprises, give better play to the cooperative advantages of regional enterprises, and lay a solid foundation for the healthy development of the industry.


Liu Jianxin, President of the Tianjin Representative Office, gave a detailed introduction to the development status and regional characteristics of the construction material leasing and contracting industry in Tianjin, and put forward specific ideas for the next work of the representative office. He stated that the Tianjin Representative Office will actively build an enterprise communication platform, promote the sharing of industry resources, assist enterprises in solving practical problems encountered in operation, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the regional industry.


The participating representatives conducted fruitful discussions on core industry issues. At the market development level, the representatives conducted an in-depth analysis of the operation characteristics of the local market in Tianjin, made a comparative study and judgment on the differentiated pattern of the domestic northern and southern markets, and discussed the opportunities and challenges of developing the "Belt and Road" international market under the background of constructing a new development pattern.


In terms of technological innovation and product upgrading, the meeting focused on the technical characteristics, application status and promotion prospects of formwork systems such as high-strength alloy formwork, disc-buckle scaffolding and wedge-lock scaffolding, and reached a consensus on how to drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation. The meeting also exchanged views on the development of the scaffolding industry in Hong Kong. All participating representatives agreed that they will further understand the situation of Hong Kong in terms of scaffolding design, safety management, vocational training and regulatory standards, opening up new ideas for deepening regional industry cooperation and jointly exploring the market.


In his concluding remarks, Secretary-General Zhang Shaofang stated that the association will continue to increase support for the Tianjin Representative Office, and promote the high-quality development of the construction material leasing and contracting industry through various means such as improving working mechanisms, building communication platforms and promoting advanced technologies. This discussion provided important reference for the association's next work and will help the industry make new progress in standardization and specialization.
