How much does a ton of photovoltaic (PV) mounting brackets cost?

Nov 08, 2025|

Material Influence:

Hot-dip galvanized steel brackets: The mainstream choice, priced at approximately 5000-6500 RMB/ton, with good corrosion resistance and a lifespan of over 20 years.

Aluminum alloy brackets: Lightweight but expensive, approximately 7000-8000 RMB/ton, suitable for rooftop distributed projects.

Zinc-aluminum-magnesium new materials: 30% improvement in corrosion resistance, price increase of 10%-15%.

Specification Differences:

Square/Round Tubes: 60mm square tubes (e.g., 60602mm) cost approximately 5500-6000 RMB/ton, with an additional 5%-8% increase in price for each additional 1mm of thickness.

Customization Needs: Irregular cross-sections or special lengths (e.g., exceeding 12 meters) may incur an additional 15%-20% processing fee.

Process Costs:

Hot-rolled processes are 300-500 RMB/ton cheaper than cold-rolled processes, but with slightly lower precision.

Standard products (GB/T 13912) are 8%-10% more expensive than non-standard products, but guarantee tensile strength (≤420MPa).

Logistics factors:

Included shipping prices are usually 200-300 RMB/ton higher than self-shipping prices; additional shipping fees may apply to remote areas.
