Rock Wool Rolls: A Thermal Insulation Marvel for Industrial Equipment

Nov 09, 2025|

Sitong Bingke rock wool rolls are made from carefully selected basalt as raw material, processed into artificial inorganic fibers through high-temperature melting. They are lightweight, have low thermal conductivity, excellent sound absorption, are non-combustible, and have good chemical stability. It is a new type of thermal insulation, heat insulation, and sound absorption material. In addition to the general properties of rock wool, it also has waterproof, thermal insulation, and cold insulation properties. Even after long-term use in humid environments, it will not deliquesce. According to JISA95-1979 testing methods, its water repellency rate is over 98%.

Because rock wool products do not contain fluorine (F-) or chlorine (Cl), they have no corrosive effect on equipment. Tested and certified as a non-combustible material by the Tianjin Fire Research Institute, it is an ideal thermal insulation, heat insulation, cold insulation, and sound absorption material for buildings, pipelines, storage tanks, distillation towers, boilers, flues, heat exchangers, fans, and industrial equipment such as vehicles and ships.
