The Cuplock Base Jack is a core foundational component of the cuplock scaffolding system, also commonly referred to as a scaffolding adjustable base or screw base. It is mainly used for height adjustment and load-bearing support at the bottom of scaffolding. It is mostly made of Q235 carbon steel or low-alloy high-strength steel. The screw rod is hot-dip galvanized, which has anti-rust and corrosion-resistant properties, suitable for outdoor scenarios such as building construction and bridge erection.
Core Functions
1. Height adjustment
The spiral screw rod structure enables fine height adjustment within the range of 10-100 cm (corresponding to the numerical range of 10-100 in the picture), which can adapt to uneven ground and ensure the overall levelness of the scaffolding.
2. Load transfer
It evenly transfers the load from the upper part of the scaffolding to the foundation ground, disperses pressure, avoids local settlement, and improves the stability of the scaffolding.
3. Anti-slip fixation
The pallet (base plate) at the bottom of the base increases the contact area with the ground, and together with the adjustable top support, it can firmly fix the vertical poles of the scaffolding and prevent slipping.
Specifications
The common diameters of the screw rod are 38 mm, 40 mm, and 48 mm. The adjustment stroke is generally 100 mm-1000 mm (i.e., the unit of 10-100 marked in the picture is centimeters). The size of the base pallet is mostly 150×150 mm or 200×200 mm.
Application Scenarios
It is widely used in scenarios such as the erection of internal and external scaffolding for building construction, formwork support for bridge engineering, and temporary construction of stages/bleachers. It is a key accessory that ensures the foundation stability of the cuplock scaffolding system.
