On December 9, 2025, a delegation led by Tian Zhengzhang, Chief Engineer, Zhang Shaofang, Vice President and Secretary-General, and Zhang Mingjie, Assistant Secretary-General, of the China Association of Construction Materials Leasing and Contracting (hereinafter referred to as CACMLC) visited Tianjin Tiantai formwork (the Tianjin Representative Office of CACMLC )for research and discussions. The delegation conducted an in-depth understanding of the construction and development of the representative office, and held in-depth exchanges on key issues concerning the industry.
At the market development level, the representatives conducted an in-depth analysis of the operational characteristics of the local Tianjin market, made a comparative study and judgment on the differentiated patterns between the northern and southern domestic markets, and explored the opportunities and challenges of developing the international markets along the Belt and Road in the context of fostering a new development paradigm.
In terms of technological innovation and product upgrading, the meeting focused on the technical features, application status and promotion prospects of formwork and scaffolding systems such as high-strength alloy formwork, hot dip galvanized ringlock scaffolding ,cuplock scaffolding , and wedge-lock scaffolding, and reached a consensus on how to drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation.
The meeting also shared insights on the development of the scaffolding industry in the Hong Kong region. All participants agreed that they would further learn about Hong Kong's experience in scaffolding design, safety management, vocational training as well as regulatory standards, so as to open up new ideas for deepening regional industrial collaboration and jointly exploring the market.
In his concluding remarks, Secretary-General Zhang Shaofang stated that the Association will continue to increase support for its Tianjin Representative Office. By improving working mechanisms, building exchange platforms, promoting advanced technologies and other means, it will drive the construction materials leasing and contracting industry to achieve higher-quality development.
This forum has provided important reference for the Association's next-step work and will help the industry make new progress in terms of standardization and specialization.
